Fun filled games which add zing to your wedding ceremony

The wedding ceremony is mostly a fun ride and party affair for all its attendees.  But there is no denying the fact that there is one event we all absolutely look forward to during a wedding, is the Sangeet! Truly all the events of this night ranging from the live performances, dance & music is really exciting and accounts for great memories (not to forget, pics). However while most of you might just be putting up an amazing show with all those dances, putting together a flurry of fun filled games can go a long way in adding that extra zing to your evening. Simply just throwing in a game or two between your performances can render your guests an evening with everlasting memories.

Let’s take a look at some of the most convenient, fun packed games and activities that you can include:

1. Dance Breaker!

This can really prove to be one of the great icebreakers. The main agenda of this game is to involve members from both the sides and ease out, feel comfortable, have fun. You can simply arrange this game with the aid of blue and pink balloons and by making little chits with names of the boys family members. These chits should be put one each in the blue balloons and repeat the same for the girl’s family with the pink balloons. Chit from both sides can be picked which will allow the two to shake a leg with each other. Just make sure to play some peppy dance numbers.

2.  Awards Night

Well this not a game, but it’s certainly one of the best fun filled activities to do on your sangeet. Organize a real life like event by getting actual trophies manufactured from a local vendor and award all the special people in your gathering.

3. Beer Chug

Now, this can be really an exciting one. You can organize a beer chugging competition between two members from either sides. Obviously, the person who manages to finish off an entire bottle first, wins.

4. Tug of War

Only this time it’s slightly different. This is solely between all the sisters and sister-in-laws of either side. Just place two items of the bride and grooms choice on either side of the stage. If it turns out to be a vanity box for the bride, it could be a set of cufflinks for the groom. After that throw in a rope in the middle and women from both the parties need to tug the rope in opposite directions. Obviously the winning side gets to grab the prize for their member.
