1.  Falafel

The name sounds too cute; the taste is just awesomely cuter! It is a wonderful dish also known as ta'amia in Middle East but owes its major liking in Arab East. First of all, it is important to know that Falafel is a commonly eaten snack in Israel and its essence resembles the ubiquitous French Fries. Falafel is generally served as a side dish in wedding and reception parties. It is a spicy dish that combines chickpeas and fava beans.

2.  Hummus

Well, Hummus is just a dip but it is like a king of dips. Too royal in its recipe and too amazing in its taste. Hummus is prepared from chickpeas, olive oil, tahini paste, lemon juice, garlic and salt. You cannot enjoy pita bread without Hummus. 3.  Matchbous

A non-vegetarian’s delight, Matchbous is prepared using spiced lamb, tomato, stew and rice. Rather it is a typical Khaleeji dish which is too exotic owing to its spicy taste that comes from ripe limes and salt water. Chicken and fish variations are also available and the dish is always served with rice.

4.  Shawarma

Shawarma is another meat dish that is often termed heavenly owing to its rich taste of various meats like chicken, beef, goat, lamb, and sometimes turkey. All these roasted meats are rolled into a large piece of flatbread or pita that has been steamed or heated. The Shawarma tastes all the more awesome when inside the pita, many other foods Arabic specialties like hummus, tahini, pickles, vegetables, and even French fries are added.

5.  Baklawa

For dessert lovers, Baklawa is not a new name. Baklawa is also a part of Greek cuisine but the only difference is that Greeks use honey instead of orange blossom or rose water as used in Arabic style of preparation. I am a great fan of Arabian food dear. Once I attended a wedding at event venue Chicago and there I loved Shawarma that was meat dish. My friends and I enjoyed the wedding so much. I am thinking to go there again with my friends only.
